There will be no scheduled seminar this Tuesday. As you can tell from the article this week there are some things going on in my life personally that are more important. I will still stop in the room Tuesday at 8pm edt if I am home but can not guarantee it.
Last week we had Pat Marcello as our special guest speaker. Pat is a published author and writes a couple of blogs. She just released a new ebook that I give my strongest recommendation to "7 Secrets to Writing Killer Articles". She had a great presentation. I have finally figured a way to have these seminars be available to those that can not attend but nature just loves to interfere.
Unfortunately, a power outage while I was editing caused me to lose the file but in the future I should be able to have the seminars be available.

Life Intrudes Again

One of the perils of being self employed in a one man shop is that life sometimes decides you need a reminder of what is important.
Having personally spent way too much time in the waiting rooms of doctors and other medical services (labs, x-ray, etc.) over the last few weeks with my better half has driven this point home all to well.
Obviously, your family and loved ones are the most important thing. Knowing whether or not the systems you have built into your business work is a close second for your financial well being.
Systematizing your efforts is something that I try to do with everything in my business. Now everything can't be systematized but the more things that you can do this with the better for you.
List building is always my number one focus in all facets of my business, and I put a great emphasis on systemizing them when ever possible.
A few ways that I do this.
1. Use co-registrations and run them through a warm up series that allows me to get back what I have spent on the co-registrations (hopefully) and maybe generate a profit so I can reinvest in purchasing more. You can download a report on exactly how I do this here.
2. Use squeeze pages on all products I create and even within various sites that I have a regular newsletter.
3. On the sites that I have a regular newsletter do multiple issues of the newsletter at one time so that I don't have to do it on a regular basis. Leave them ready to go in the autroresponder and stop having to fight deadlines.
Applying a few of these techniques on a regular basis has allowed my subscriber base to continue to grow despite being sick and tired of sitting in waiting rooms.
Does my business grow as fast as when I am going full bore - No. The important thing is that it still continues to grow. Would yours?
Take the time to look at ways to systematize your business so that you can continue to grow it even when life intrudes.
