There is no formal article this week related to list building. However accept our apologies for getting this weeks issue out late due to us attending the Focus 4 Seminar in Dallas this past weekend.
First it was great to get together with some of the people that I interact with regularly that I met at Charlotte. Getting to meet some of the new attendees was also a blast. If you attend the seminars you have probaby seen Stephen Ayers of Traffic Round Up and Marcy Low in the conference room. Meeting them in person was great.
Another good thing that happened is that Tim and I were lucky enough to get a "Hot Seat". Now a "Hot Seat" is where they take your web site and the various experts just tear it apart and tell you how to improve it. It is not for those with a thin skin. We really thought we had a decent home page for people to promote.
In truth we did but in a matter of 10 minutes we came away with 2 pages of tips to vastly improve it and take it from a decent page to a very good to great page. There will be some changes coming and we strongly recommend that all rebranders upload a picture and make sure that they have the contact information they want used in their member's area.
Obviously, we will be testing against current results to check results so expect to see some serious changes in the next week or two to the front page.
