Question of the Week
How do you convince free signups to take the next step and become paid members of my opportunity? These folks don’t answer any emails after they sign up.
List building is about building a relationship. One of the best ways to get a responsive list is to “train” your list. If you are going to give information put it online and link to it from your email series.
I always have something for sale in all my emails. It may be a soft sell such as a PS but if you are supplying good information and entertaining your list they will become more responsive.
Be your self - not every one will like you - they don’t all like me and I am old, bald and lovable *grin*. Those that do are the ones you are sorting through to find. If they resonate with you, they will buy your offers, join your programs and make you money. Those that don’t will unsubscribe.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year December 23, 2006
Posted by Mike Paetzold in : Commentary , 1 comment so farNo newsletter this week but I did want to wish all Happy Holidays. Merry Chreistmas is what this Old Bald Guy celebrates but please substitute the holiday of your choice no matter what you celebrate.
Also, do as I am doing over this holiday season - enjoy your family and spend a bit of time reviewing the past year and plannig for the new one.
Look for lots of changes once 2007 arrives and be prepared for them. The only guarantee there is that there will be change.
Again, enjoy your time with your family and friends and I’ll be back after the holidays.

One of the things that will be addressed in the update to Opt In Master Course is the tactic of using a membership site to help build your list.
There has been a lot of information and products launched to do this over the past 6 months to a year. It probably started back in January with the launch of Butterfly Marketing.
Every newsletter for the last month I have offered a copy of a free report on how to use a membership site as your business model. It really is a powerful way to build a list. This is why I created Opt In Master Course and I am in the process of building two other membership sites.
