Question of the week
This question was asked and brings up a good point although I don;t think the questioner realizes it.
Should you set up splash pages for each sales page, or can you set up one splash for your webpage pertaining to the products? I use articles on my main webpages, then add links going to sales pages.
My first comment is that I almost never send people to a sales page directly through my advertising. Rather than promote a specific product I always promote my list or subset of my list.
Here’s why:
If I send people directly to a sales page (with the exception of my sales page for my product) I can only get one of two results.
They buy - good for me but how do I follow up? The product owner gets the contact info not me.
Or
They don’t buy - bad for me and spent my time or money with no way to follow up.
Now if I spend my effort on my squeeze page then after they are on my list I can send them to the sales page and now no matter what they do I can still follow up with them.
Much better use of my resources. Which way do you promote?
