Todays question:

Which type of advertising is best for building my list? Traffic exchanges, safelists, classified ads, ezine ads etc.

Interesting question but actually one with no correct answer for everyone. The key is the advertising that is best is the one you learn how to use most effectively. The real answer is are you tailoring your squeeze pages and the offer you make to the people that you are advertising to.

Lets take a quick look at traffic exchanges. Your audience for the most part are people loking to make money on line on a budget. If you offer something that will make that easier, double thier profits or something along those lines you should do well.

However, if you are offering a free e-course on self help you might find some interest but your results would be much better if you were adveretising in an ezine that talks about that topic. The audience would be much more targetted and interested in your offer.

Hope that helps but as always the key is to test and track your results and you will quickly know the right answer for you.

3 Questions to improve your efficiency

Ever notice that when you seem extremely busy and working hard that you don’t always get anything accomplished that you wanted to?

Do you wonder why?

Here are the 3 questions you need to answer to become more efficient.

1. Do you plan your day or does your day plan you?

Taking the time to plan your day before you start can be a huge help in keeping you on track.

2. Ask the question every time you are faced with a distraction - does this forward my business goals?

Every time you get a distraction or see an offer ask this question. When you are building your daily plan ask this question. If the answer is no then that is busy work or not a product you need. One of the biggest problems is not staying on track and it is extremely easy to have happen.

3. What did I accomplish today?

Ask this at the end of every day before you start your planning for tomorrow. If you are honest with yourself you will start to see where you have wasted time and effort. Remember that it is usually the thing you don’t want to do that are the most necessary to take you to the next level. If you are not doing things that are uncomfortable then you are not improving your business.

There are many more that could be added to this list but take the time to use these three questions regularly and I promise you will improve your business.

Where is the big red button?

Everybody I talk to that is looking to build or business or just make a few dollars on line is looking for the big red button to push to be instantly successful.

Come on even if you won’t admit it you have been looking too. I know have and have the t-shirt, coffe mug and more.

Lots of copywriters make huge amounts of money to make you think that this product or that product is just that button. They don’t actually say it but they sure make you feel like this is the one thing that you can just plugin and BOOM!!! you are on your way to the lifestyle you have always dreamed about.

What would you pay if you could actually find that button? After all if having it and pushing it could make you thousands or even millions of dollars what would it be worth to buy it?

Would you gladly pay $10,000 for a button that would generate you a $1,000,000?

Well, sorry to say there isn’t a big red button. Of course you knew that but like the rest of us you still keep hoping.

The real big red button is your ability to communicate and get ideas across to other people. The ability to write in a way that can compel action.

It is something that you do every day and don’t even realize it verbally. Every time you interact with someone else you sell or you buy.

Tell your daughter to clean her room and if she does then you were the seller and she bought what you sold. Now if she is stubborn like mine is then maybe she sold you on why she shouldn’t instead of you selling her on why she should. Makes you sharpen your skills to get the room clean doesn’t it?

The key though is that everyone has the ability you just need to practice using it and take what you do everyday and put it into writing. The more often you do this the better you become at it.

If you want the big red button for your business start writing each and every day. Go sign up at Blogger and create a blog and make it private. Write there everyday where it is just you. Write on any topic just to become comfortable writing.

Hey it works. If an Old Bald Guy who almost failed English his senior year in high school can write an article like this you can too. Start today.
